Soffit Repair

Many times, when gutters are damaged, the soffit and trim can also be damaged. We can reinstall existing or new soffit and trim as needed.

Fascia & Trim

When there is no gutter system or if the gutter system fails, oftentimes the fascia board can get damaged and need replacing. The fascia board is the board behind the gutter that the gutter is installed upon. Oftentimes this board can rot out which can make hanging a gutter properly impossible. We will replace any damaged board with either a wooden board which will need painting or with a PVC board which comes in white.

Built-In-Gutter Repairs

Built-in-Gutters, sometimes called Hidden Gutters or Eaves Trough Gutter, are a gutter system that is not visible from the ground. Built-in-Gutters are often found on row houses in the fan area of Richmond. These systems often fail and need repair. Golden’s Gutters has years of experience in repairing Built-in-Gutters and would be happy to help.

Under Decking Systems:

If you have a patio below your deck and you want to prevent it from raining on your patio, then you may need an under-decking system. This system will cover the underside of your deck with a panel creating a ceiling over your patio. The water collected from the deck will be redirected to one end of your deck and spill into a downspout thus carrying water away from your home.

Rain Collection

Rain barrels collect water from your gutters. This is an alternative way to divert some of the water that comes down your downspouts from flowing onto your property. The water can in turn be used to water flower and vegetable gardens. The rain collection system will not be able to handle heavy downpours so we highly suggest adding a downspout diverter (see below) to keep your rain barrel from overflowing. Most systems have an overflow valve but it is usually not sufficient for heavy rain.
